Assistant Tennis Coach

Chatham University, a thriving dynamic institution with three colleges -- Chatham College for Women and the co-educational College for Graduate Studies and College for Continuing and Professional Studies -- is seeking a dynamic individual to be the part-time assistant coach of its women's varsity tennis team. This position reports to the Athletics Director and is part of the University's administrative staff. Assuming responsibility for the overall development and maintenance of the tennis program, you will structure and administrate the program and directly supervise assistant coaches, student support personnel and student-athletes.


Specific areas of responsibility will include on-court training, conditioning, skill development, and enforcing disciplinary and safety mandates. Ensuring adherence to the policies of Chatham University, the PAC and the NCAA will be an ongoing essential.


Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of successful tennis coaching and playing experience, preferably at the college level. A high level of self-motivation and excellent interpersonal skills are imperative.
