Men's & Women's Tennis / Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

Franklin Pierce University is seeking an enthusiastic individual for the position of Men's & Women's Tennis Coach /Assistant Men's Soccer Coach. This is a 10-month, full-time position from August 1, 200 to May 31, 2009. This position reports directly to the Athletic Director. Coaching responsibilities include planning and administering all aspects of a successful Athletics program; practice and meet preparation, scheduling, compliance, staff supervision, recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student athletes, monitoring of student-related athletics and academic development and adhere to all NCAA, conference and institution policies and procedures. This position will include additional administrative responsibility based on the candidate's strengths.

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree but a Master's would be preferred. College level coaching experience required. Good organizational, oral and written communication and recruiting skills are needed. Must possess knowledge of athletic recruitment methods and techniques, and financial/business analysis techniques. Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes. Skill in budget preparation and management.
