Willamette University seeks candidates for the part-time (.5 FTE) position of Head Coach, Men’s Tennis for the Athletics Department. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the head coach will be responsible for the organization and management of the men’s tennis program. This individual must have strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills in order to teach/coach, recruit and deal with others both inside and outside the University and may have a significant impact upon the University’s reputation and operations.
Work involves a wide variety of situations as the incumbent performs duties and responsibilities in the University’s athletic efforts. May require exposure to adverse environmental conditions such as noise, extreme temperatures, inclement weather, and other adversities as the incumbent performs duties and responsibilities in both an indoor and outdoor setting. May require travel due to varied locations of athletic events.
